New Chelsea Society’s professional administrative team handles all aspects of property management, tenant selection, Resident Services and other duties to maintain our buildings and ensure the well-being and safety of our residents.

Site Managers keep the buildings and grounds clean, do minor repairs, assist tenants’ recreational activities and respond to tenant concerns.

Our staff is trained in first aid and participate in regular professional development training, to help make sure our residents receive the best possible care.

Our Executive Director

Patrick Buchannon has been the Executive Director of New Chelsea Society since December of 1997. Since then, the Society has grown significantly from having 8 property locations with 484 suites in two Lower Mainland municipalities, to having 20 property locations with well over 1,432 suites and townhouses in five lower mainland municipalities. Our staff has grown from 15 to 48 and our resident population has grown from being not only primarily veterans and independent seniors, to now also including seniors requiring supportive housing services, multi-cultural families from all walks of life, and people with disabilities.
